Akoora ("we," "us," "our") is an AI consultancy based in Australia. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit akoora.com or get in touch with us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We've written it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate — if anything here isn't clear, email us and we'll explain it properly.

Information you give us directly

When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, company name, company size, what you're looking to do, how you heard about us, and anything you write in the optional "tell us more" field. We use this only to respond to your enquiry — to understand your situation, get back to you, and, where relevant, follow up about working together.

We don't sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How we process contact form submissions

When you submit the form, your information is sent to two places, both of which only Akoora can see:

• Email — your enquiry is sent to our inbox using Resend, an email delivery service.
• Slack — a summary of your enquiry is posted to our internal team Slack workspace, so we see new enquiries promptly.

Your submission also passes through Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-protection check that confirms you're a real visitor before the form submits. It doesn't use tracking cookies and collects the minimum needed to distinguish humans from automated spam.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — which pages get read, roughly where visitors are coming from, and general usage patterns. This involves cookies and collects information like your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited. We use this in aggregate to improve the site; we don't use it to identify you personally.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or block cookies generally through your browser settings.

Hosting and security

This site is hosted on Vercel and its DNS is managed through Cloudflare. Both, like any web host or network provider, incidentally process technical data such as IP addresses as part of delivering the site to your browser — this is standard for any website and isn't used by us to identify individual visitors.

How long we keep your information

We keep contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, as part of our ongoing business records. If you'd like us to delete information we hold about you, email us and we'll action it — see "Contact us" below.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, email us at the address below and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we start using a new tool that processes visitor or client information. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when we do.
