These terms govern your use of akoora.com. Akoora is a founder-led AI consultancy run by Darryl Dillon-Shallard; in these terms “I” and “me” mean Akoora. I’ve written them in plain language rather than legal boilerplate. If anything here isn’t clear, email me and I’ll explain it properly. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

What this website is

This site describes Akoora’s services for Australian aged care providers and publishes articles about using AI in aged care. Content on this site, including blog articles, service descriptions, templates, and any figures or examples cited, is general information, not legal, clinical or other advice tailored to your organisation. It doesn’t create a client relationship or any obligation on Akoora’s part.

Prices and engagements

Prices on this site are shown in Australian dollars, exclude GST, and are starting prices (“from”). The final price and scope for any engagement (the Admin Time Audit, First Win or ongoing support) are set out in a separate written agreement you sign with Akoora before work starts. That agreement governs the engagement; these website terms don’t.

The Admin Time Audit guarantee

If the audit doesn’t identify at least 10 hours a week of recoverable staff time across the site, you don’t pay for it. The site, the roles included and how recoverable time is measured are agreed in writing at the scoping stage, and the guarantee applies on the terms of that engagement agreement.

Intellectual property

The content on this site (text, illustrations, logos, and layout) belongs to Akoora unless otherwise stated. You’re welcome to read, share, and link to it. You may not republish, redistribute, or reuse it commercially without asking me first. The AI safe-use policy template is the exception: you may adapt it for use inside your own organisation.

Acceptable use

Don’t use this site in a way that disrupts it for other visitors, attempts to access areas or data you’re not authorised to see, or uses automated tools to scrape or copy the site at scale. The forms and chat assistant are for genuine enquiries, not for spam, unsolicited advertising, or unrelated automated submissions. Please don’t enter personal or health information about residents, clients or staff into the chat assistant.

No guarantee of outcomes from site content

Statistics and examples on this site (including in blog articles) are illustrative or drawn from independent research where cited. They aren’t a promise of results for your organisation. The only guarantee Akoora offers is the Admin Time Audit guarantee above.

Third-party links and services

This site links to and relies on third-party services, for example hosting, analytics, the chat assistant, and the tools that process form submissions, detailed in the Privacy Policy. I’m not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of external sites this site links to.

Availability and changes

I aim to keep this site available and its content accurate, but I don’t guarantee uninterrupted access, and I may update, correct, or remove content at any time, including these terms. I’ll update the “last updated” date above when I make a material change.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, Akoora isn’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or reliance on its general content. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee or other right that can’t be excluded under Australian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
